Makeshift Games

About

Makeshift Games is an independent game development studio located in Seattle, WA.  We are a small group of talented freelancers who love to make games.  Our first commercial game was “Chuck the Ball” which was released in the App Store earlier this year.  Chuck is just the beginning.  Look for more great things coming soon.

Our team

James Jacoby - Owner, Developer, Game Designer

James is not a typical developer- he loves to do everything and be involved in all aspects of a production.  James is a skilled developer on many platforms, but focuses mostly on Flash, web, and mobile technologies.  Show James a neat technology and he’ll make a game with it within a few hours.

Tim Moser – Art Director, Game Designer
Tim Moser is a Seattle-based multimedia designer/developer currently employed, well, for himself…

In the multimedia design arena, Tim is focused on website design, usability, interface layout, UI design, mobile design, iphone application design, and web standards involving XHTML, CSS and other related technologies.

A big kid at heart, Tim spends a lot of his spare time playing Xbox, iPhone apps and playing with all sorts of RC (flying) toys.

Dawn Moser – Copywriter, QA
Dawn Moser likes to write stuff.  And play games.  And spend time with her husband.  This gig is pretty ideal.
